Issues cost $2.00 - so cheap! If you are ordering a lot of them at once then include a dollar or two for the postage.I didn't keep very good track of the expenses for Issue #1. I think it cost me around $35 for buying nice quality paper, and probably $120 or so for the xeroxing. I gave away 100 copies immediately to contributors and paid a fair amount for postage overseas. I've probably sold 60 copies and given away another 100. When I sell them through a bookstore I don't get very much of the money. I might possibly have broken even. Next issue I will keep better track.
Labor: Who knows how long this took. I think 2 days of layout and xeroxing for the first 200. The second batch, I was helped by Val Lisewicz and Barak Yedidia and it took us 2 hours to fold and staple 200 copies. Thanks Val and Barak! Dinner was great, too.c
